Tongyeong City Launches Mental Health Program for Nosan Village Residents

The program consists of three sessions, held once a week from the 13th to the 27th.
Program Details
The Tongyeong City Mental Health Welfare Center has designed this program to create a culture of respect for life, where residents can take care of their own and their neighbors’ mental health. The program utilizes various psychological counseling media, including:
- Food psychological counseling
- Song and laughter gymnastics
- Art counseling
Importance of Mental Health
Kim Young-jae, the director of the health center, emphasized that mental health crises caused by everyday stress, such as depression and anxiety, can happen to anyone. He stressed the importance of finding ways to relieve stress and seeking help from those around us.
“We will actively promote projects to create a culture of respect for life, where people can take care of each other’s mental health, not just at home but also in the community,” he added.
