Date: 2024.11.05

Category: Children’s ⁢Department

On November ‌3rd, ‌the⁢ Faculty of Education hosted the highly successful “Children’s School”⁢ event, ‍a joint initiative by the elementary school education, creative expression, and children’s English courses. The event was ⁤designed for second-year students and above, and due to its popularity, over 30 applications had ⁣to be declined.

Creative Expression: Where Music Meets Imagination

Six students from the creative⁣ expression ‌course took center stage, reading a picture book aloud and teaching ‍the children ‌how to create‍ “fun music” using sequence software and an interface. This innovative approach allowed the children to turn their images‌ into music,⁤ resulting in⁢ an exciting ⁢and ⁢engaging experience. The students were thrilled to ‌listen to and play music, while also recording their digital performances.

Elementary School Education: Learning ⁢through ‌Karuta and Haiku

The six students from the elementary school education course designed an ⁢interactive learning experience using karuta, a traditional Japanese card game. The game was based on ⁤their research on flora and fauna around the university, and the children had ⁢a blast⁣ competing ‌for photo ⁢cards and cheering loudly as⁣ the words were read out⁤ loud. The session culminated in ‍a fun sing-along of the original song “Seasonal Adventure.”

Children’s⁢ English: A Fruitful Learning Experience

Two students⁢ from‌ the children’s English course prepared picture cards featuring various themes,⁢ such as ‍”animals,” “drinks,” and “food.” The students showed the cards ‌and pronounced the words in English, encouraging the children to repeat after‌ them. ‍This⁢ interactive approach helped the⁤ children⁢ learn new‌ English expressions, and they ⁢eventually enjoyed creating their own phrases, such as ‌”Animal⁣ Basket” and “Drink⁣ Basket,” using English pronunciation.

A ⁢Resounding ⁢Success: “Children’s ⁢Raku School” Series

The ⁤”Children’s⁤ Raku School” series, ‍which included venue preparation, reception, and souvenir distribution, was ⁢a huge success, ‍thanks to the students’ hard⁢ work and dedication.⁤ The participating ⁣parents ⁣and children‍ appreciated the effort,‍ making the event a memorable experience for ⁢all involved.
