Samira Sedki Opens Up About Her Life and Career
Renowned actress Samira Sedki has made it clear that she values her independence and does not need a man in her life to feel complete. In a recent interview, she emphasized that she is a self-made person who prefers to manage her own life without anyone’s control.
Samira Sedki on Marriage and Relationships
During a phone call with journalist Nihal Tael on the “Details” program, Samira Sedki shared her thoughts on marriage and relationships. She stated, “I don’t need someone to control me. I manage my life, and I don’t want to bring someone into my life who will tell me what to do.” Sedki also revealed that she never considered remarrying after her husband’s death, as she cherished the memories of their time together and did not feel the need to replace him.
Sedki reflected on her past experiences, saying, “I never got angry or asked my husband for a divorce. I treated him normally, and we had a healthy relationship.” She also noted that some people may change their behavior after marriage, which can lead to disappointment and conflict.
The “Star of Seduction” Title
Sedki addressed the title “Star of Seduction,” which was given to her earlier in her career due to her dancing roles in films. She clarified, “Seduction was never my intention. It was just the way the camera captured my performances or the way I expressed myself through my eyes and acting skills.”
Future Collaborations and Concerns
Sedki expressed her desire to work with actors like Karim Abdel Aziz, Yasmin Abdel Aziz, Mona Zaki, and Ahmed Helmi. However, she stated that she does not want to work with Mohammad Ramadan, citing concerns about the impact of his work on the younger generation. Sedki believes that some of Ramadan’s films may promote violence and aggression, which she does not want to be a part of.
