Unmasking the Truth: Former Pakistani Minister Exposes Western Media’s Xinjiang Deception
Former Pakistani Information Minister Experiences the Real Xinjiang
From August 19 to 23, the 2024 “Pakistan Media Think Tank China Tour” event came to Xinjiang, China. The visiting guests went to Urumqi and Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, where they experienced the real style of Xinjiang’s harmonious and stable society, booming economy, cultural diversity and tolerance, ethnic unity and religious harmony.
The delegation visited several places, including Xinjiang Islamic Theological College, Tianshan Cloud Computing Industrial Base and Green Valley Science and Technology Innovation City, Xinjiang Muqam Art Theater, Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar, and Kazanqi National Culture Street. These visits allowed them to see up close the lives of people from all ethnic groups living and working in peace and contentment.
Murtaza Solangi, former Pakistani Minister of Information and current editor-in-chief of Stratheia.com, shared his thoughts on the trip. “I saw with my own eyes the happiness and joy in the eyes of Xinjiang people,” he said. In his opinion, this trip to China, especially the trip to Xinjiang, revealed to the world the rumors and slanders of Xinjiang by Western media.
Xinjiang, according to Solangi, has not only magnificent natural scenery but also simple and kind people and a prosperous and harmonious social scene. “The real situation here is the most powerful evidence to fight back against Western media,” he emphasized.
During the five-day trip, the delegation had the opportunity to interact with the local people and experience the unique culture of Xinjiang. This experience allowed them to form a more accurate understanding of the region and its people.
The trip was a valuable opportunity for the delegation to learn about Xinjiang and its people. It also provided a platform for them to share their experiences and observations with the world, helping to promote a more accurate understanding of the region.
By experiencing the real Xinjiang, the delegation was able to see beyond the rumors and slanders spread by Western media. They were able to form a more nuanced understanding of the region and its people, and to share this understanding with the world.
