ANDORRA-LA-VIEILLE, Andorra – The Unnic leisure complex, a multifaceted entertainment venue featuring a casino, nightclub, and business spaces, recently celebrated its second anniversary, marking a significant milestone in attracting visitors from beyond Andorra’s borders, including a considerable contingent from France.
Located on Rue Prat de la Creu in Andorra-la-Vieille, the Unnic complex drew onlookers as artists performed an aerial ballet on a ribbon suspended from a structure over three meters high.The performance, set against the backdrop of the complex’s geometric wave facade, highlighted the anniversary festivity held Friday, March 28, which included shows, guided tours, and a large celebratory cake.

The Unnic complex spans 10 floors in the heart of the Andorran capital.Andorran Jocs group, the project’s developers, announced in 2022 their intention to dedicate 80% of the space to entertainment and 20% to gaming.
The complex includes a casino with slot machines, a poker room designed to host international gaming events, and a Sports Bar offering betting on sporting events, food, and drinks. Higher floors feature blackjack tables, the Red Bar, a disco for shows and concerts, and workspace for seminars. The top floor houses a restaurant with panoramic views of Andorra-la-Vieille,inspired by the biblical story of Noah’s Ark.

According to Marc Martos, CEO of Andorran Jocs, Unnic fills a need for a comprehensive entertainment infrastructure in Andorra. “The fact of having been able to obtain [a casino] with the Games Society was very significant for us; it was more a project for the whole country than for the city of Andorra-la-Vieille alone,” Martos said. “But it is indeed not just a casino, or not a bar or have a drink, it is really a unique structure.”
The 7,500-square-meter Unnic complex has attracted significant traffic since its opening in 2023. According to the complex,it has welcomed over 480,000 visitors in two years,with 262,609 registered in the gaming area and 128,620 visiting the disco.The restaurants have served a total of 71,720 customers.
The complex has drawn visitors from 145 different nationalities. Jose Fulgencio Cano Lopez, the site director, stated that Spanish customers make up the majority at 40%, followed by Andorrans at 30%, and French visitors at 12%. “We are in the process of achieving our goals and becoming a tourist attraction,” Lopez said.
