Investigation into the Murder of Former Egyptian Ambassador’s Son

On​ Sunday, the Public Prosecution launched an investigation into ‍the‌ murder of Amr Ali, the son of the former⁤ Egyptian ambassador to⁤ Serbia, who was found⁢ dead ‌in his residence in a compound in Sheikh Zayed.

The investigation revealed‌ that two students ​were accused of killing ‌Amr Ali with the intention of stealing ⁤his mobile phone, money, and luxury car. The ⁢prosecution ‌is ‌also investigating who bought the victim’s phone from the accused.

Forensic Evidence Links ⁣Accused to the ⁢Crime⁣ Scene

Technical ​evidence, including fingerprints and DNA analysis, linked⁣ the accused to⁤ the crime scene. The ⁤prosecution​ found that the fingerprints of ⁤the accused matched the⁢ marks ‌on⁢ the doorknob, two beer bottles, and ‌the ⁢victim’s body.

Furthermore, human skin was found in the fingernails of⁤ the victim, ⁢indicating that ​he had resisted⁢ the‌ attackers ⁣by stabbing them with a knife. The knife was found to be the property of the ‍victim and⁤ was inside the apartment.

Confession‌ of the Accused

The ‌accused confessed to planning the crime and ‌testified that they had been ⁤watching the victim, who lived alone in the apartment. They jumped on‍ the wall of the residence and shocked ‍the⁣ victim ‍with an electric shock to paralyze​ his resistance, but ​he continued to resist until they stabbed him several times ‍with ‌a knife.

Circumstances Surrounding the Discovery‌ of the Body

The victim’s father had ​been trying ‌to contact him since last Wednesday but was unable to reach him. He became worried when he found his son’s phone switched off and ⁢hired a person to ‌break ⁢into the residence, where the ⁢body was discovered wrapped in a⁣ plastic bag.

Investigation Reveals No Signs of Forced Entry

The prosecution’s investigation revealed that there was​ no‌ broken port, and the victim’s belongings were missing. The⁢ Mercedes car was tracked through ⁣metal plates, leading to the location of the​ accused.

Victim’s Personal Life

The investigation found that the victim had a good relationship with his friends⁢ in​ Cairo and had ‌no enmity with others. He had recently become involved⁣ in a ‍love⁤ affair with⁣ a girl and had announced his intention ​to ​propose to ⁣her family.

Funeral Services

The prosecution’s examination of the body‌ revealed that the victim⁣ had sustained⁢ two stab wounds, one on the chest and the other on the⁢ back, apart from the presence ‍of scratches and ⁢bruises⁤ on his body. Funeral⁤ services ‍were​ held ‍for the​ deceased, ⁣and his body⁤ was buried amid ⁤the mourning of his‌ family.
