From September 20 to 24, the 8th Silk Road International Expo and China East-West Cooperation and Investment and Trade Fair was held at the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center. Our city brought thousands of “treasures” to the three exhibition areas of advanced manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and Shaanxi cuisine and food culture at the Silk Road Expo, showcasing the hard power of Baoji manufacturing, new advantages in opening up to the outside world, and the new charm of the food capital, becoming the focus of attention of merchants and the public from all over the world.
Walking into the advanced manufacturing exhibition area of the Silk Road Expo, the words “Building an advanced manufacturing highland and being a pioneer in the province’s high-quality manufacturing industry” on the door of Baoji Pavilion are particularly eye-catching. The pavilion displays nearly 1,000 products from 34 advantageous enterprises in our city, including the titanium alloy manned spherical cabin of Baoti Group’s 10,000-meter deep-sea submersible, Baoji Geely’s new energy vehicle Galaxy L7, Baoji Heli forklifts, Baoji machine tools, civilian titanium products, car seats and other products, attracting batches of Chinese and foreign merchants to visit and consult.
Baoji Port District is the main platform for Baoji’s high-level opening to the outside world. The Baoji Port District Pavilion was specially set up in the transportation and logistics exhibition area of the Silk Road Expo. The pavilion focused on promoting the port district’s investment promotion policies, the operation of the China-Europe Express and the circulation fulcrum. A relevant person in charge of the Baoji Port District said: “The China-Europe Express (Baoji) channel can reach many places in Europe, Asia and other places. We received waves of foreign merchants at the exhibition. Next, we will keep in close contact with them, send more Baoji-made products abroad and to the world through the China-Europe Express, and continuously expand Baoji’s international “circle of friends”.
At the Baoji Pavilion of the Shaanxi Cuisine Food Culture Festival at the Silk Road Expo, more than 80 kinds of food from 20 carefully selected catering companies in our city gathered in the ancient city of Xi’an. In particular, the newly launched new variety – Baoji kiwi sauerkraut noodles, which tastes like both the fruity aroma of kiwi and the sour, salty and fragrant flavor of Fufeng sauerkraut noodles, attracted long queues from food lovers from all directions. Similarly, at the stalls of rolled noodles, tofu pudding steamed buns, roujiamo, sauerkraut ribs, etc., people passing by also lined up.
