The New Taipei City Tourism Bureau has installed a 4K high-definition real-time video camera in front of Taiwan’s largest curtain-style Shifen Waterfall, allowing the public to experience its beauty firsthand.
Located upstream of the Keelung River, Shifen Falls is nicknamed “Taiwan Niagara Falls” and is a popular tourist destination.
In addition to the real-time video camera, a real-time radio function has been added, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the sounds of the waterfall and surrounding environment.
The waterfall is surrounded by a rich natural environment, including pot holes and cave waterfalls, which attract a variety of birds and insects.
The tourism bureau encourages visitors to experience the beauty of Shifen Falls in person, and to explore the surrounding area to discover its natural charm.
