Harrods’ Dark Past: Lawyers Expose Mohamed Al⁢ Fayed’s Alleged Abuse

Lawyers representing former Harrods employees have come forward with shocking allegations ‌of rape, sexual⁣ assault, and abuse against the late ⁤billionaire ⁢Mohamed Al Fayed.

Several women have alleged that Al Fayed, who ‌owned the iconic department store, subjected them to horrific abuse‍ during his tenure. The allegations have⁢ been likened to those against notorious sex offenders ⁣Jimmy Savile and Jeffrey Epstein.

Attorney Dean ‍Armstrong KC described Al Fayed as a⁢ “monster” ⁤and ‌stated that the case ⁤combines‌ the most horrific elements of the Savile, Epstein, and Harvey Weinstein cases. He emphasized that Harrods needs to take responsibility for the abuse and make things right.

Lawyer ⁣Maria Mullah revealed that female workers ‍were harassed and threatened by Al Fayed’s associates, who⁣ claimed to⁢ be billionaires. Women were ‌often‌ made to “speak in some kind of code” and were threatened⁤ with never ⁤being able to work in⁤ London again⁣ if they ⁢complained.

Ms. Mullah also described how security personnel working for‍ Al‌ Fayed told staff, ”We know where you‌ and your family live.” Women who tried to report the abuse were demoted, falsely accused, and forced to leave Harrods.

U.S. attorney Gloria Allred stated that Harrods was ‌a “toxic, unsafe,‍ and abusive environment” under ‌Al Fayed’s leadership. The allegations against Al Fayed include serial‌ rape, attempted rape, sexual‌ assault, and sexual abuse ⁢of minors.

Allred also alleged that Al Fayed disclosed unauthorized medical information about employees he targeted for abuse and that there was a cover-up⁣ and intimidation of victims.

Lawyers are calling for Harrods to take responsibility for the abuse and make amends to the victims. The ‍case is ongoing, and more⁣ information is expected to come to‍ light in the coming weeks.
