Jihan Salama Reveals Cancer Details for the First Time
Egyptian actress Jihan Salama shared her cancer experience for the first time on the “Kalam El Nas” program, presented by Yasmin Eze on the “MBC Egypt” channel.
During the interview, Jihan Salama, known for her role in the series Raya and Sakina, discussed her recent absence from the art scene, her relationships with fellow artists, and upcoming projects.
Regarding her cancer, Jihan Salama explained: “In 2018, I had a tumor in my uterus, which was partially removed. A subsequent nuclear scan revealed another tumor in my abdominal area, leading to the removal of my uterus. Recently, I discovered a rare tumor that required the removal of part of my colon and stomach. The operation was challenging, but I’m fine now, thank God.”
Notably, Jihan Salama’s last appearance was in the 2017 play “The Masquerade Party,” starring Mohammad Riyad.
