The Council is responsible for studying and proposing the general economic and productivity policies of the country in all fields, including strengthening and developing productive capacity and studying and proposing scientific plans with a view to making better use of available resources and increasing, maximizing production through scientific and technological methods. It also studies the employment situation, proposes general plans and programs for better utilization of human resources and increases their production efficiency, studies ways to remove any obstacles affecting the process of economic growth and suggests necessary organizational and technological changes for establishment. Youssef Boutros abuses…the mind of Mubarak’s financial government
Youssef Rauf Youssef Boutros Ghali was one of the most prominent thinkers and figures in the late President Hosni Mubarak’s government.
Ghali holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cairo University. In 1981, he earned a doctorate in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Cairo University’s Faculty of Economics and Political Science and served as Director of the Center for Economic Analysis in the Council of Ministers from 1991 to 1993. National Bank of Egypt.
