The key visual of National Day sparked discussion. The Kuomintang even claimed that “the Republic of China is back” as it honors the system. The celebration preparation committee, “the Republic of Taiwan is the consensus of all, and there will be no return” problem of return, since Taiwan is a sovereign and independent country, it will not change.

Former Kaohsiung city cultural director, Yin Li, one of the initiators of the Korean strike, expressed his disappointment on Facebook, stating that the design is a combination of the stems of six red wine glasses. He believes that the main visual designer of this year’s National Day remains anonymous, and it is unclear whether Hangu Yu himself made it using six red wine glass bases.

Yin Li also mentioned that in the past, former President Tsai Ing-wen retained the Double Ten format but used design techniques full of experimentation, dynamic imagery, and creative expression to manage the visuals of the National Day. He integrated Taiwan with extended design concepts in the spirit of the new era, in line with international standards, and invited many well-known designers to design the original visuals for the National Day.
