Morocco is a country that has all the elements of stability, according to the Namio International Crime Rate Survey of 2023, which considers Morocco on par with safe European countries, where tourists from all countries of the world can travel with a high degree of security and comfort.

The Global Safety Report published by the Institute for Economics and Peace on the world’s safest countries for 2022 ranked Morocco sixth in the Arab world and 74th globally.

Achieving Distinction in Safety and Security

Morocco, which crossed the border of ten million tourists last year, has achieved a positive image in the international media, thanks to the respect for local customs, traditions, and cultural values. The Security and Safety Index also highlighted that Morocco ranks first in Africa and better than America globally.

The public policy and development created under the guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI have led Morocco to positive results in rare political stability and independence within the country’s constitution and its governing laws.

The Role of the Security Establishment

The high level of security and stability in Morocco is a result of the leaders and servants of the security establishment overseeing the country’s security. The scientific standard for security work is an integral part of the state’s overall strategy to achieve massive development and attract investment.

The General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance have intervened and arrested cells prepared for terrorist activities and even seized strings of sleeper cells.

A Pioneer in Active Operations

Moroccan companies entrusted with security files have become pioneers in active operations and in attracting and professionally analyzing accurate information. Excellence and efficiency have made them a pioneer in uncovering the threads of sleeper cells, even among the countries of the European Union and the Americas.

We, as Moroccan citizens, have at least a duty to thank these tough people who look after the country’s security. We are proud of the distinguished position that Morocco has achieved among nations and peoples.
