Collection of 20 Unsigned Vintage Original Postcards and Photographs
This unique collection features 20 unsigned vintage original postcards and photographs of Montgomery, each relating to his visits to Gstaad, Switzerland, in the late 1940s and 1950s. Most of the photographs depict Montgomery outdoors on the ski slopes, accompanied by various people, including Paul Loosi, President of the Gstaad Ski Club and Gstaad Tourism Director. Some photographs also show him dining with a young man, presumably Lucien Troub.

In addition to the photographs, this collection includes letters and newspaper clippings, mostly in German, all relating to Montgomery’s visits to Gstaad, ski races, and other events. A typed manuscript of Loosi’s reminiscences of Montgomery is also included, with many revisions by Loosi.
