Sumaya Ibrahim, the presenter of the popular “Vanguards of Faith Program” on the “Holy Quran” radio, has passed away after a long battle with illness. For many years, the public has been familiar with her voice and guidance on various radio programs that provided valuable religious content.
A Look Back at Sumaya Ibrahim’s Illustrious Career
Sumaya Ibrahim was a prolific radio personality who presented numerous programs, including “Vanguards of Faith,” “Islamic Dictionary Program,” “Be Fast and Quiet,” the Hajj Program of Landmarks and Rituals, and the Program of Messenger Letters to Kings and Princes.
She was also a key contributor to the “Family Magazine” program, which was issued by the Family and Community Division of the Holy Quran Network and aired every week.
The first issue of the magazine was released on January 10, 2018, and featured a diverse range of passages on family in an engaging and varied style.
Sumaya Ibrahim collaborated with other notable radio personalities, including Zainab Younis, Alia Al-Hakim, Sahar Farooq, and Mona Abdel Hadi, on the preparation and presentation of the magazine.
Funeral Arrangements for Sumaya Ibrahim
Sumaya Ibrahim’s body will be laid to rest at Al-Azhar Mosque after noon prayers, and her family will receive condolences at Nasr City’s Al Rashdan Mosque Hall in the evening.
