Miller Harris, a contemporary British fragrance brand, is good at condensing natural and cultural landscapes into fragrances. In 2018, the brand was inspired by the classic book “Tender Is The Night”. Based on a short description in the book, the perfumer cleverly turned the text into a scent and launched the classic Scherzo Eau de Parfum. This year, Miller Harris is renewing its story series, working with three perfumers to draw inspiration from world classic literature and write five new fragrance chapters based on story backgrounds in Paris, New York, China and other places.

Scherzo Scherzo Eau de Parfum

Perfumer Mathieu Nardin recreates the luxurious style of the French Riviera in the 1930s with a bright and fragrant scent. The fragrance opens with fresh blood orange, purple mugwort and golden frankincense; it continues with the floral notes of narcissus and pittosporum; and is blended with rich notes such as patchouli, vanilla and agarwood, and is cleverly embellished with a hint of light. The sweet malt caramel aroma presents a colorful and joyful scene.

Soufflot morning light eau de parfum

Inspired by Hemingway’s classic work “The Sun also Rises” published in 1926, through warm gourmet tones such as chestnuts, hazelnuts, cinnamon leaves and honey, it creates a warm and tranquil feeling as if you are in Paris in the morning. Later, the deep aroma of tobacco and leather gradually unfolds, revealing a hint of fresh green citrus and jasmine, adding a touch of fresh elegance to the rich fragrance.
