Marquette Celebrities Paint the Town‌ Red ⁤(and Blue ‍and Yellow)⁢ for Children’s museum

MARQUETTE, Mich. – ‍ The U.P.Children’s Museum buzzed with excitement Thursday night as local celebrities unveiled their artistic talents for‍ a good cause. The museum’s 21st annual⁢ Celebrity Art Auction saw​ 21 Marquette notables auction off unique, handmade creations, raising crucial funds for the beloved institution.

Guests ​mingled amidst‍ colorful paintings, whimsical sculptures, and intriguing experience packages, enjoying appetizers and drinks as they perused the offerings.The air crackled with⁤ anticipation ⁤as bidding wars erupted over coveted pieces.

“The community is always incredibly generous during this event,” said Jessica Hanley, Executive ‌Director of the U.P. Children’s Museum. “People truly love what we do here, and they understand the importance of providing‍ a safe and welcoming space for children to learn and grow through play.”

Hanley emphasized the‌ museum’s commitment to inclusivity, stating, “We’re⁣ open to everyone, nonetheless ⁣of age or ability. I think that’s how the community‌ sees us – as a place⁢ where ​every child can ​thrive.”

Proceeds from the auction will directly support the museum’s daily ​operations and special programs, ensuring that generations ⁢of children continue to benefit from its enriching surroundings.
