Weather Warnings Bot
The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning on Tuesday at 6:17 a.m. This warning is in effect until 9 a.m. and affects Santa Barbara County Central Coast Beaches, Santa Barbara County Inland Central Coast, Santa Ynez Valley, Lake Casitas, Ojai Valley, Central Ventura County Valleys, Western Antelope Valley Foothills, and Eastern Antelope Valley Foothills.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA expects sub-freezing temperatures between the low 20s and low 30s.
Frost and freeze conditions can kill crops and sensitive plants. They can also damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. The NWS advises taking steps to protect delicate plants from the cold.

What to Do if There Is a Freeze Watch or Warning
Freeze warnings are usually issued from May to October. They occur when temperatures are expected between 29-32 degrees. A freeze watch may come a few days ahead if temperatures may fall into these ranges.
If a freeze warning or watch is issued, the best protection for plants is to move them inside. A freeze can kill these plants depending on conditions.
