Nihon Falcom, the Japanese video game developer, detailed its upcoming projects during its annual⁣ investor presentation. The presentation, covered by Gematsu and Nikkei, revealed several unannounced games in the Trails and Ys series, alongside plans to increase their annual release cadence.

Recent and Upcoming Releases

Trails‍ in the Sky 1st Chapter was successfully released⁢ in September 2025 for PlayStation 5, ⁤Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC. ys X: Proud Nordics is slated for a ​february 2026 release on PlayStation 5.

Unannounced Projects

Beyond the confirmed⁢ releases, Falcom is actively developing several‍ unannounced titles:

• Unannounced Port: A port of an existing title is in development, with the target platform currently undisclosed.
• Nintendo ​Switch 2 Port: Another title is planned for release on⁤ the upcoming Nintendo ​Switch‌ 2.
• Project C: A new installment within the Tokyo Xanadu series.
• Project D: A completely ‌unannounced game.

Increased Release cadence

Falcom currently releases one new game annually.Though, the company aims to increase this ‌to two new titles per year within the next three years.Several titles mentioned in the⁤ presentation where already unannounced a ‍year prior, indicating a proactive development pipeline.
