A portable DVD player sold at JB Hi-Fi is being recalled. The recall is due to concerns that its battery could overheat and start a fire.

Product Safety Australia issued the recall after an incident report. They warned that the overheating poses serious risks of injury, death, or property damage.

The affected product is the Blaupunkt dual screen portable DVD player, with serial numbers AGL37790001 to AGL37791000. These players were sold between January 1, 2024, and October 7, 2024.

Customers should stop using the product immediately. They can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
