Agricultural Roots and Decades of Labor in Urluk
Anatoly Georgievich and Anna Aleksandrovna Semyonov raised two sons, Aleksandr and Ivan, while working in agriculture. Anna worked as a dairymaid on a farm, and Anatoly labored as a cattle breeder and shepherd. The couple still maintains a private homestead with cattle, pigs, and horses, and they help raise two granddaughters.
Mikhail Vasilyevich and Mariya Evdokimovna Grigoriev also built their lives around farming and manual labor. Mariya worked as a pig tender, a hospital cook, and for two decades as a collective farm dairymaid. Mikhail drove for the collective farm, spent eight years as an ambulance driver, and worked as a shepherd, cattle breeder, and stableman. He is known locally for his musical skill and has played the accordion since childhood. Together they raised a daughter and a son, and today they have four adult grandchildren, a granddaughter, and a great-granddaughter.
Vladimir Petrovich and Valentina Stepanovna Zakharov spent their entire working careers at the local collective farm. Valentina started as an accountant, worked at the bakery and the information-processing station, and served as deputy chief accountant from 1990 to 2003. Vladimir began as a tractor driver and became an agronomist in 1980 after finishing specialized courses. They raised two children, Evgeny and Larisa, and have two granddaughters and two grandsons. The couple maintains a household plot with chickens, pigs, and cows, while Valentina tends a flower garden.
