US Warns Iran Not to Attack Israel Amid Rising Tensions

A US official, as quoted by Axios, stated, “We have told Iran that the US cannot restrain Israel and Washington cannot guarantee that Israel’s next attack will be as calibrated and targeted as the previous one.” This message was conveyed directly to Iranian officials, although Israeli sources suggest it was transmitted via Switzerland.

Israel has asserted its ability to respond to Iranian attacks, even if they originate from Iraqi territory. An Israeli official noted, “That will depend on the scale of the attack and its outcome.” This statement underscores the complex and volatile nature of the situation.

According to reports, Israel’s October 26 attack on Iran was preceded by weeks of consultation with the US regarding the type of target to attack. The White House and Tehran have declined to comment on this revelation, which emerged shortly after Iran’s supreme leader threatened a fatal reaction against the US and Israel.

Israeli intelligence sources have revealed that Iran is preparing to launch a major attack against Israel from Iraqi territory. This plan is expected to take place before the US Presidential election on November 5, in response to Israel’s recent attack on Iran.
