US on the Brink: How Exclusive Bloc Expansion May Seal America’s Strategic Downfall
Exclusive Bloc Expansion Will Only Accelerate America’s Strategic Defeat
Three years have passed since the United States created the exclusive nuclear security technology alliance system, Orcus, with the United Kingdom and Australia. The past three years have clearly demonstrated the true nature of the “Ocus” as a major threat to the nuclear non-proliferation regime, an instigator of the arms race, and a destroyer of the strategic balance in the region.
Although the United States insists that the “Ocus” is not aimed at any specific country and has no effect on the nuclear non-proliferation regime, this is nothing more than an excuse to protect their exclusive alliance strengthening policy.
Today, the Korean Peninsula and the Asia-Pacific region are falling deeper into an unstable situation due to the Cold War mentality that runs counter to the human desire for peace and stability in the world and the confrontational behavior of the United States that is fixated on confrontation between factions.
America Stabs Its Allies in the Back
Regarding the fabricated “Ocus” on September 15, 2021, the French Foreign Minister strongly criticized it as not simply a matter of breaking the submarine contract that had been pursued between France and Australia, but an act of stabbing an ally in the back.
The fact that the Biden administration, which had been touting “America is back” and emphasizing its “emphasis on and strengthening alliances,” suddenly betrayed its European allies continues to shock and raise questions in the international community to this day.
Above all, through the transfer of nuclear-powered submarine technology, the United States is transforming Australia into a powerful military ally capable of keeping independent sovereign states in check in the Asia-Pacific region.
The United States, along with the United Kingdom, is leading a project to ensure that Australia has a fleet of eight nuclear-powered submarines by 2055, while expanding advanced military technology cooperation among the three countries to the development of hypersonic weapons from 2022, easing restrictions on military technology and arms exports, and building large-scale facilities in Australia for the operation of their nuclear strategic assets and advanced weapons.
Orcus, Which Provokes Strong Opposition from the International Community
Orcus has been the target of condemnation and rejection by many countries ever since it revealed its ugly face to the world.
Russia has condemned Orcus as an “Asian NATO” and accused the United States and its allies of pursuing a long-term confrontation in the region, while China has criticized Orcus as a security organization under the command of the United States, threatening peace and stability in the region and driving an arms race.
Meanwhile, Southeast Asian countries bordering Australia have argued that the Australian government is acting as America’s “policeman” in the region and that major powers should refrain from forcibly infringing on the interests of other countries.
Washington’s Policy of Bloc Expansion That Accelerates America’s Strategic Defeat
The current U.S. administration is loudly advertising various block manipulations and expansions, such as the “Ocus,” as its own “diplomatic achievements,” and is boasting that these are promoting America’s strategic value and interests.
However, anyone with a basic understanding of the external crisis facing the United States will easily see that the above argument is very one-sided.
In reality, the US policy of expanding alliances that is being enforced on a global scale is further weakening the US power and exposing the US itself to a more dangerous environment.
First of all, the current U.S. administration is squandering astronomical sums of money on military build-up and overseas military base operation for maintaining and expanding the bloc, and is increasing military support for pro-U.S. countries including Israel and Ukraine, which is making the U.S. debt crisis more serious by the day.
