He received a $30,000 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct and an additional $12,500 fine for damaging his equipment

These fines amount to nearly 40% of his New York winnings, as participation in the first round of the final table awards $110,000. The total prize pool for the men’s tournament was $31,620,000.
