Tyler Weaver, a 22-year-old English amateur golfer, is set to make his US Open debut after successfully navigating Monday’s qualifying round. The “longest day in golf” saw US Open hopefuls compete over 36 holes at 10 sites in the United States and Canada, vying for 47 available spots.
weaver finished tied for third at 11-under par in Atlanta. He was one of three amateurs to qualify. Mason Howell, 17, led the qualifiers at that location. Meanwhile, notable PGA Tour players Rickie Fowler and Max Homa were among those who did not make the cut.
