The idea that society should prioritize having children,known as pro-natalism,is increasingly discussed in the United states. While not necessarily a widespread demand among average Americans who are generally having the number of children they desire, the pro-natalist movement is attracting attention, according to Moira Donegan, a columnist.
Donegan noted that the movement seems to have allies in influential figures such as former Vice President Mike Pence, Elon Musk, and others. The second annual NatalCon conference in Austin, Texas, brought together a diverse group of people who share the goal of increasing the birth rate and promoting family growth in the U.S.
