US Treasury Introduces New Anti-Russia Sanctions
The United States Treasury Department has announced new sanctions against Russia, targeting over 30 individuals and more than 360 companies.
The sanctions specifically focus on Russian companies and enterprises linked to the military-industrial complex, design centers, and research institutes. Notable entities on the list include Unmanned Technologies of Mordovia, the Arsenal Scientific and Technical Center, the Russian Air Transport Laboratory, and the Moscow Aviation Institute.
In addition to Russian companies, the sanctions also affect foreign legal entities from countries such as China, Turkey, Switzerland, and Uzbekistan.
According to the US Department of the Treasury, the sanctions aim to restrict suppliers of technologies and goods for the Russian military-industrial complex, as well as combat the evasion of previously introduced restrictive measures.
