The United States has begun sharing classified intelligence regarding Chinese and Russian activities in space with the United Kingdom and other members of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, according to The times.
Prior to april, access to details gathered by Space Delta 9, the U.S. unit specializing in orbital operations, was largely restricted to American personnel with top-secret clearance, the report stated.
The decision to share this intelligence comes amid growing concerns in Washington about the rapid development of new space capabilities by both Beijing and Moscow.China, in particular, is investing heavily in intelligence gathering, raising fears that it could use its space assets to monitor U.S. troop movements in the event of a conflict.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Association Summit, emphasized that member states, including China, oppose the deployment of weapons in space. He stated that this stance should serve as “a sign for the rest of the world against the militarization of outer space,” according to Izvestia.
