The University of South Florida women’s golf team finished in third place at the Boilermaker Spring Classic, which took place from April 12 to April 13, 2026. The tournament was hosted by Purdue and held at the Birck Boilermaker GC in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Cherry Marley led the Bulls’ effort, securing a third-place finish in the individual standings. Marley completed the tournament at even par with a total score of 215. Her performance was consistent across the three rounds, posting scores of 71, 72 and 72.

USF Team Performance

The USF women’s golf team concluded the event with a total team score of +27. The Bulls’ progression through the tournament saw an opening round of +6, followed by a +8 in the second round and a +13 in the final round.

In addition to Marley’s top-three individual finish, several other USF players contributed to the team’s third-place standing:

  • Alice Webb tied for 16th place with a total score of 223.
  • Regina Plascencia tied for 22nd place with a total score of 226.
  • Holly McLean tied for 28th place with a total score of 228.

Individual Leaderboard

The individual competition was led by Isabella McCauley of Minnesota, who won the tournament with a total score of 212. Lauren Timpf of Purdue finished as the runner-up with a total score of 214.

Cherry Marley of USF rounded out the top three with her total of 215. Anna Ritter of Illinois followed in fourth place with a score of 216.

Other notable individual finishes included a tie for fifth place between Mariana Mesones of Minnesota, Thanana Kotchasanmanee of Princeton, Samantha Brown of Purdue, and Alexis Myers of Illinois, all of whom finished with a score of 217.
