Director​ and ​owner of ⁢PT Zahra Oto Mandiri (uhud Tour), Ustaz Khalid Zeed Abdullah Basalamah,⁤ appeared before the KPK at the Red and ⁤White Building in Jakarta on tuesday, September 9, 2025. He was questioned as a witness in ⁢the alleged corruption case surrounding the‍ allocation of ​ Hajj quotas.

Ustaz Khalid was examined for nearly‌ eight hours, from 11:04 WIB to 18:48 WIB.

Claim of Victimhood

Ustaz Khalid stated that⁣ he and his congregation were, in ⁢fact, victims of alleged irregularities involving PT ⁢Muhibbah, ⁢owned by Ibn Mas’ud.He clarified his position, ⁣stating, “I am a congregation at PT Muhibbah, Ibn Mas’ud.So, our position is actually the⁢ victim of PT Muhibbah owned by Ibn Mas’ud.”

He explained that he initially intended to travel for the Hajj ‍ under the Hajj Furoda category, a privately organized pilgrimage package.

The Offer from Ibn Mas’ud

According to Ustaz Khalid, Ibn Mas’ud of‌ PT Muhibbah approached him while preparing ​for the Hajj Furoda pilgrimage. Ibn Mas’ud offered to facilitate the journey using a special⁤ quota visa purportedly issued ⁣by the Ministry of religion.

“We ​have departed every year with Furoda. Only when we have paid furoda, we⁣ will leave, are ready. the congregation is also ready. Well, Ibnu Mas’ud from PT Muhibbah came offering to use this visa (special ⁣quota) by saying it ⁣was ⁣an‌ official‍ visa,” Ustaz Khalid explained.
