St. Louis—The U.S.women’s national team (USWNT) delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over Jamaica at Energizer Park on Tuesday,fueled by two goals apiece from Ally Sentnor and Lynn Biyendolo. The match highlighted the team’s emerging talent under coach Emma Hayes, who continues to emphasize youth growth and tactical innovation.
Sentnor, 21, opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Lily Yohannes initiated the play with a long, precise pass to Emily Fox, who quickly relayed the ball to Sentnor. From the center of the penalty area, sentnor struck a clean shot into the net.
Sentnor struck again nine minutes later. Alyssa Thompson won a ball on the left flank and passed to Yohannes, who then found Sam Coffey. Coffey spotted Thompson advancing into the box and passed the ball to her, but her shot deflected off Jamaica’s Chantelle Swaby. Sentnor pounced on the rebound, finishing from close range.
Biyendolo extended the lead in the 60th minute,just three minutes after entering the game.Following a USWNT corner, Lindsey Heaps’ header was saved by goalkeeper Liya Brooks, but Biyendolo reacted swiftly, scoring with a high kick.
Biyendolo completed her brace in the 88th minute. Avery Patterson delivered a long pass into the penalty area, and Biyendolo timed her run perfectly to score her 13th goal as a substitute sence her debut in october 2016.
The USWNT demonstrated complete control, maintaining over 80% possession and outshooting Jamaica 20-2. Goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce was not forced to make a save. Kerry Abello of the Orlando Pride earned her first cap, starting at left back. Thompson, Macario and Yohannes also earned back-to-back starts.

The USWNT will continue their series of friendlies later this month, facing Ireland on June 26 and June 29, followed by a match against Canada on July 2.
