Uvalde High School’s wrestling team excelled at the Brawl On The Stahl meet in San Antonio on November 15 and 16.
In varsity action, seniors George Rodriguez and Orlando Romero won first place in their weight classes on November 16. On November 20, the Coyotes had a successful outing at San Antonio Lanier, finishing 4-0. They defeated Brackenridge 65-18 in the championship match. They also won against Edison 66-6, Jefferson 59-18, and New Braunfels 48-30.
