Korean Air Setter Han Seo-su Invests in Future of Volleyball
Han Seo-su, the veteran setter for Korean air in the V-League Men’s Division, has demonstrated a significant commitment to the progress of young volleyball talent. He recently donated 20 million won (approximately $15,000 USD) to the KYK Foundation, bringing his total contributions to the association to 47 million won (approximately $35,000 USD).
Record-Setting Career Spurs Philanthropic Gesture
The donation recognizes Han’s recent achievement of reaching 20,000 set assists in his V-League career, a milestone reached on November 21st. He debuted in the V-League with the Korea Air Force during the 2007-2008 season and has maintained a consistent presence in the league for 18 seasons.
Active Role with KYK Foundation
Beyond financial support, Han actively contributes to the KYK Foundation as an auditor. In this role, he provides valuable insights and guidance on the foundation’s operations and youth player support programs, aiming to foster a more stable habitat for emerging athletes.
