Vandalism Strikes Ilidža Clinic: Bricks and Stones Shatter Windows in Brazen Attack
Vandalism at University of Sarajevo Clinical Center
Employees of the Department of Physiatry and Rehabilitation Clinic at the University of Sarajevo Clinical Center in Ilidža discovered extensive damage to glass surfaces on Monday morning. The windows were smashed with bricks and stones, resulting in significant material damage.
The Department of Physiatry and Rehabilitation Clinic provides essential physical treatment services to a large number of patients. Unfortunately, due to the vandalism, patients will not be able to receive services at this facility in the coming days. Emergency patients will be redirected to the KCUS Physiatry and Rehabilitation Clinic in Koševo.
This incident is the latest in a series of attacks on the facility, with this being the most severe case of material damage to date. The employees and patients are deeply disturbed by this act of vandalism.
The KCUS has reported the incident to the PU Ilidža authorities, and a police report has been filed. The institution expects the perpetrators to be identified and brought to justice soon.
