Watch this video to understand the risks associated with e-cigarettes containing synthetic cannabinoids.
Synthetic cannabinoids are artificial substances that mimic the effects of natural cannabinoids. Smoking these substances can produce a more intense feeling than natural cannabis. They often appear in the form of spices, petals, tobacco, and e-cigarette oil. Representative products include twigs, “spice”, “vanilla”, and natasha. Synthetic cannabinoids are typically sprayed on plant powder to create plant incense for smoking and are often mixed with multiple synthetic cannabinoids.
Smoking e-cigarettes containing synthetic cannabinoids can lead to addictive and withdrawal symptoms similar to those of natural marijuana. It can also cause excitement, hallucinations, and other adverse effects. Excessive and long-term smoking can result in severe consequences, including shock, suffocation, cardiovascular system diseases, insanity, and even sudden death. Furthermore, there is a risk of cancer.
