President José Jerí​ reiterated his support for the operation conducted by the United States to capture Nicolás Maduro last Saturday, according to reporting from RPP Noticias. Donald Trump shared the first photograph⁣ of Maduro following⁣ his capture. Jerí emphasized ⁤that certain‍ actions were “necessary,” even if they temporarily contravened international law.

The president also stated that Venezuelans should choose⁤ their next leader adn reminded listeners that ⁣they already elected a candidate‍ in 2024 who should hold the office.
