Bronze Medal Winner
Judoka Marcos Blanco secured the last medal for the Venezuelan delegation, finishing third in the category up to 60 kilograms for blind judokas.
Historical Context
Venezuela’s best performance in the Paralympic Games was in Tokyo 2020, where the delegation won seven medals: three gold, two silver, and two bronze.
The previous occasion for the Venezuelan delegation to win six medals was at the Rio 2016 Games, where they reached the silver medal podium three times and the same number in the bronze medals.
