Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials confirmed on September 5 that four people with possible links to the Aragua Train are illegal Venezuelan immigrants.
According to information provided by journalist Bill Melugin on X (Twitter), all those caught entered the United States illegally and were released at the Texas-Mexico border, benefiting from the policies adopted under the administration of President Joe Biden.
The prisoners have been identified as Jhonnarty José Pacheco-Chirinos, Jhonnarty De Jesús Pacheco-Chirinos, Nixon José Azuaje Pérez, and Dixon José Azuaje Pérez, who were caught by Border Patrol and released with a notice to appear.
FOX 31 Denver confirmed that these four people were arrested at Ivy Crossing Apartments in Aurora for a variety of charges, including drug trafficking and stolen vehicles, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Although the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office did not confirm the exact connection between the four inmates and the Aragua Train, the four men are currently in custody.
