Venezuela to U.S.: Address Your Own Problems,Stay Away

CARABOBO,Venezuela ⁤- In a fiery address delivered this saturday,Venezuela’s Executive Vice President⁣ Delcy Rodríguez issued ‌a stern warning to the⁣ United States, urging ⁤the nation to withdraw its presence from Venezuelan territory and⁤ its⁣ surrounding coasts. Rodríguez emphasized that the U.S. should instead focus on⁢ resolving its own “terrible problems.”

Rodríguez’s remarks come ‍amidst heightened tensions⁣ between the two countries, with‌ the⁣ Venezuelan government accusing the U.S. of deploying “warships” in the Caribbean Sea as part of what⁤ it deems “hostile actions.”

“Solve‍ their problems and stay from the coasts of Venezuela, stay from the territory of Venezuela,” Rodríguez declared during the second day of a nationwide militia enlistment drive. ⁣The enlistment, initiated by President Nicolás Maduro, is a direct response to the perceived U.S. threat.

The ⁣Venezuelan government, through⁣ its mission to the UN, has specifically warned that the U.S. intends to send a “launching cruise” and a “quick attack nuclear submarine” to Venezuelan waters in the coming ⁣week. Maduro has appealed to UN ‌Secretary-General⁤ António Guterres‍ to⁣ intervene ⁤and urge the U.S. to cease its “hostile actions.”

Rodríguez went on to assert that ⁤Venezuela would be the ‍U.S.’s “worst nightmare” if ⁢provoked, cautioning that “the worst calamities of the American people are yet to come if they dare to attack” the nation.

“They must be very clear, (USA) is a country that, the product of an imperialist‍ system, predator of nature, of an expansionist system, which conceives the rest of the countries⁣ as‍ their colonies, suffers and suffers terrible problems ⁢today, social, economic, political problems. It is a system in crisis,” Rodríguez stated.

The Hydrocarbons Minister echoed this sentiment, affirming that the Venezuelan people are prepared to defend every‌ inch of their territory against what they believe is a U.S. attempt to “assault” the⁣ country ‍and seize its “immense ⁤energy riches.”

Rodríguez also vehemently‍ rejected U.S. accusations ‍that Venezuela has⁢ become a narcoterrorist state, dismissing⁣ the‌ claims as “one of ‍the ⁤worst farce and hoax.”

“They are tremendous fakers⁤ and immoral by pretending to accuse the noble ⁤people of (Simón) Bolívar, of ‍(Hugo) Chávez, of drug trafficker.⁢ Venezuela, you know, it is a people of peace, it is a town of hope, not only for our country, but ⁢also for the peoples of the world,” Rodríguez proclaimed.

The militia enlistment drive is part of the National Plan for Sovereignty and Peace, activated in response to the U.S. ‌naval deployment near Venezuela, ostensibly aimed at combating drug trafficking.

The U.S.⁣ has recently doubled‍ the reward for facts leading to Maduro’s capture⁢ to $50 million, accusing the Venezuelan⁣ leader of⁢ violating U.S. narcotics laws.

Venezuela has also reportedly deployed ships of “greater porte” in its territorial waters in the Caribbean as a show of force.
