American Airlines is resuming daily service between Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) and philadelphia International Airport (PHL). The airline also plans to inaugurate daily direct flights between Venice and dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) on June 6, 2025.
The Philadelphia airport serves as American Airlines’ primary East Coast transatlantic hub, offering connections to more than 120 destinations across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
José Freig, Vice President International and Contact Center Operations at American Airlines, said the airline is proud to be able to offer our passengers more and more connections with Venice.
He added that the resumption of the Philadelphia route and the new Dallas-Fort Worth service highlight our commitment to support Italy as one of the main European destinations of our growing network.
According to Camillo Bozzolo,Aviation Development Director of the Save group,the addition of the Dallas-Fort Worth route makes an crucial qualitative leap,going to serve both the macro-areas of the South West and the Eastern Coast of the United States.
He also noted that the Dallas route is part of a development strategy to create a larger network of connections with intercontinental hubs, providing connections to Mexico and Central America.
During the summer season of 2025, American Airlines will operate up to two flights daily from Venice.
