In Bad salzungen, the VHS Wartburg district presents a lecture titled “Bad Salzungen and its districts in the 1250th anniversary year.” Dr. wolfgang Sinn will be the speaker.
The lecture will explore the challenges faced throughout Salzungen’s 1,250-year history. Topics include the securing of Burgen Frankenstein and Krayenburg, trade and post routes, the Werra and Feldabahn, the search for brine, the development of Bad Salzungen as a spa town, and the founding and reorganization of the Wartburg district.
