Ganesh Navaratri Celebrations in Nagar Kurnool
The city of Nagar Kurnool is immersed in the festive spirit of Ganesh Navaratri, with various colonies hosting vibrant celebrations. On Wednesday, the Gold Phase Ganesh Youth Group at Raghavendra Colony Road No. 2, led the festivities by offering Maha Prasadam to Lord Ganesh.
Devotees gathered at the Ganesh mandap near Bangaru Maisamma in Raghavendra Colony, where special bhajans were performed, followed by the distribution of Anna Prasadam. The Milestone Youth group organized Ganapathi Lakshmi Homam and Navagraha Homam, while the Rebels Youth conducted cultural activities at the Housing Board Colony. The Annadanam initiative will continue until Saturday.
In Vishwaradhya Colony, the Ganesh Syndicate, led by Dr. Gavvamatta Viswanath Shastri, conducted special pujas. At the Bajrang Dal Vinayak Mandap, poojas were performed by priest Gomatham Murali Mohanacharyulu. The Shivashakti Youth group in Raghavendra Colony organized special prayers at the Ganesh idol.
Residents, particularly women, actively participated in bhajan singing, kolatam (folk dance), and other cultural activities, making the Ganesh Navaratri celebrations a joyous and vibrant experience across the colonies.
