ASEAN Cultural Colors: A Vibrant Photo Exhibition in Hanoi
The photo exhibition “ASEAN Cultural Colors” is the opening event for a series of activities within the framework of the “ASEAN Cultural Friendship Day” program, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of ASEAN member countries.
The exhibition, held at Doan Mon Square, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, features a stunning collection of images that highlight the beauty and diversity of ASEAN countries.
Attending the opening ceremony were dignitaries from the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO), the Embassies of Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Philippines, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste.
The photo exhibition “Colors of ASEAN Culture” is a unique art event that showcases 57 photographs, representing the 57th anniversary of ASEAN. The images capture the essence of ASEAN countries, including their people, historical landmarks, and scenic spots.
The exhibition is part of the “Colors of ASEAN” Cultural Friendship Festival program, jointly organized by HAUFO, the Embassy of Laos, and ASEAN countries in Vietnam.

The exhibition also coincides with the conclusion and award ceremony of the 2024 “I Love Hanoi – City for Peace” Painting Contest, which aims to promote peace and cultural exchange among children.
The painting contest, organized by HAUFO, received nearly 300 entries from Vietnamese and international children aged 5 to 16 years old living and studying in Hanoi.
The judges praised the paintings for their high aesthetic value, expressing love for Hanoi and peace from the children’s pure and innocent perspective.
