Vicious Dog Attack Leaves Arlington Senior in Agony, Owner’s Heartless Response Sparks Outrage
Dog Owner Refuses to Help After Vicious Attack in Arlington, Massachusetts
Recently, flyers have been circulating in public places in Arlington, Massachusetts, sharing the story of an elderly person who was bitten by a vicious dog outdoors. The dog owner refused to provide assistance, prompting the injured person to call on the dog owner to surrender to the police.
Xi Ping, a 65-year-old woman, recounted her terrifying experience to Channel 5. On August 28, she was walking near the Arlington Reservoir Lake when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her leg and fell to the ground. Two women were passing by with several dogs, and one of the dogs suddenly rushed from behind and bit her.
Xi Ping’s legs were bleeding profusely. She begged the dog owner to call 911 for an ambulance, but her request was denied. She attempted to take a photo of the dog owner and the dog, but was stopped by another woman. The two women left the scene with the dog. Fortunately, a passerby helped the injured person call the police, and she was taken to the hospital by ambulance for stitches.
Xi Ping expressed her outrage and anger towards the woman’s irresponsible behavior. She reported the incident to the police department and was interviewed by Boston Channel 5 News. The flyer urges dog owners or dog walkers to report the case to the Arlington Police Department within a week, warning that a lawsuit will be filed if no action is taken.
The flyer also serves as a reminder to others to be cautious and vigilant when encountering vicious dogs that may cause harm to people.
Since the dog involved in the case could not be found, Xi Ping had to receive four rabies shots. Local police stated that animal control officers are currently investigating the incident.
