Students from the “Publio Virgilio Marone” high school in Meta di Sorrento played a crucial role in developing the interactive exhibits. Under the guidance of Principal Immacolata Arpino and teachers Roberto Esposito and Francesco Ardillo, the students created immersive videos accessible via smartphone QR codes. Additionally, they designed a seismograph that, when used with a map of the Gulf of Naples, simulates earthquake shocks related to bradyseism in the Campi Flegrei area.

Dr. Umberto celentano, director of the Mineralogical Museum of Campania Disciple Foundation, emphasized the museum’s commitment to innovation. “Our museum combines testimonies of the past, such as fossils and lithic finds, with a forward-looking approach,” Celentano said. “We aim to stay in step with the times, offering a virtual experience that complements our existing exhibits.” He noted the museum’s collection ranges from a dinosaur mascot named Ciro to graphene donated by Nobel laureate Andre Geim.
