Cast Changes Hit German Crime TV Series ‘Tatort’ and ‘Police Call 110’
ViennaS “Tatort” duo,Adele Neuhauser and Harald Krassnitzer,are ending thier run on the long-running German crime series. their departure adds to a growing list of cast changes affecting both “Tatort” and its sister show,”Police Call 110.”
Neuhauser and Krassnitzer to Exit ‘Tatort’
Neuhauser and Krassnitzer, who portray Viennese investigators Bibi Fellner and Moritz Eisner, have been a fixture on “Tatort” for years. The actors requested to leave the show. Four more films featuring the duo are slated to air, two in 2025 and two in 2026. Producers have yet to announce their replacements.
Their final episodes promise to deliver the same gripping storylines and complex characters that have captivated audiences. The network plans to reveal the new cast members “in due course,” leaving fans eager to learn who will fill the void left by the departing stars.

Munich commissioners Also Departing
Maria Furtwängler and Florence Kasumba, who have been solving crimes in Göttingen as 2019, are also leaving “Tatort.” Furtwängler will reprise her role as Commissioner Charlotte Lindholm. Kasumba’s final appearance will be on Easter Monday in “tatort: in the delusion,” alongside Wotan Wilke Möhring,who plays federal police officer Thorsten Falke in Hanover.
Longest-Serving Commissioners to Leave
Perhaps the most meaningful change for “Tatort” fans is the departure of Miroslav Nemec and Udo Wachtveitl,two of the series’ longest-serving commissioners. They have been investigating as Ivo Batic and Franz Leitmayr as 1991. only ulrike Folkerts, as Ludwigshafen Commissioner Lena Odenthal, has a longer tenure. Nemec and Wachtveitl will end their run at the end of 2025.
Changes Across Crime Series
The cast shakeups aren’t limited to “Tatort.” ”Police Call 110″ has also seen its share of prominent departures, signaling a period of transition for German crime television.
