Vikings Extend GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s Contract

EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings are banking on continued success under General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, inking him to a contract extension. The move, announced Friday, comes roughly five months after coach Kevin O’Connell also secured a new deal, solidifying the team’s leadership for the foreseeable future. The Vikings’ leadership group aims to improve the team’s NFL free agency strategy.
Adofo-Mensah and O’Connell initially signed four-year deals in 2022. While O’Connell’s extension covers five years, the Vikings did not immediately disclose the length of Adofo-Mensah’s new contract. O’Connell’s deal reportedly maintains Adofo-Mensah’s authority over personnel decisions.
