Second Round Update
Seamus Power carded a second-round 68 at the Bermuda championship, leaving him six shots behind the leader as play was suspended due to darkness on Friday. Six players were still completing their second rounds when play halted.
Power is currently tied for 15th place at five under par. He began his second round with a birdie on the 10th,followed by a bogey on the 15th,but quickly responded with another birdie on the 16th. He finished strong with birdies on the second and ninth holes.
PGA Tour Card Implications
The Waterford man is striving to secure his PGA Tour card for next season,having faced challenges due to injury earlier in the year. He currently sits in 133rd position in the FedEx Cup standings, with only the top 100 maintaining full status next year.
The Bermuda Championship is the penultimate event of the season, concluding next week at the RSM Classic in Georgia.
