Villa La Araucanía Unveils Its Grand New Home: A State-of-the-Art Headquarters Years in the Making
Inauguration of New Headquarters in La Araucanía
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including the Deputy Regional Head of O’Higgins, Pamela Caro Ángel, the mayor Sebastián Rodríguez Fuenzalida, the Regional Councilor Alex Ramírez, and the councilors Luis Gálvez, Nessy Moratelli, Ignacio Lobos, and Mónica Matus. Representing the president of the JJVV, Mrs. Judith Henríquez, Denisse Hormazábal, the town representative, expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm for the new headquarters, stating that it is a “big dream” for the community, bringing great benefits to children and seniors alike.
Mayor Sebastián Rodríguez Fuenzalida highlighted the significance of the new headquarters, saying, “Here we are in the middle of Quinta, having opened this headquarters that was spectacular, perfect, with a beautiful apartment. Where neighbors will be able to come together, see the problems and of course, be able to celebrate.” He also took the opportunity to thank the team of professionals who work and develop the projects and the Regional Head of the Under Secretary for Regional Development and Administration for supporting and funding these initiatives, which exceeded $86,000,000.
Pamela Caro added that “we are happy to be in the town of La Araucanía celebrating the inauguration of this beautiful headquarters, which corresponds to the financing of an Urban Improvement Program, and happy to see the neighbors so enthusiastic to start occupying” the headquarters and making it a meeting space for them. She emphasized that Subdere continues to contribute to the quality of life of neighbors, especially in smaller communities.
