villepinte Football Club Kicks Off Exciting New Era
New Leadership, Fresh Initiatives Aim to Revitalize Local Soccer Scene
Villepinte, France – The Association sportive villepintoise (ASV) is gearing up for a dynamic new chapter in 2025, fueled by a fresh leadership team and enterprising plans to revive the local soccer scene. Elected in September, the new board, led by President Christian Pagès, is brimming wiht enthusiasm and a commitment to reinvigorate the club.
“We’re excited to bring new energy and ideas to the ASV,” said Pagès.”Our goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels.”
One of the first initiatives launched by the new board is the creation of a veterans’ team, attracting a strong response from former players eager to lace up their boots again. While securing matches for the remainder of this year has proven challenging, the team is optimistic about a packed schedule next season, filled with both competitive play and post-game camaraderie.
The ASV is also exploring the possibility of establishing a senior team, capitalizing on the talent pool of approximately 40 young players currently honing their skills with the GFPLM. This move could breathe new life into local football and provide a pathway for aspiring athletes.
Adding to the excitement, a women’s tournament is in the works, made possible by the installation of a new eight-a-side cage, subsidized by both the municipality and the District.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support from the municipality and the District,” said Pagès. “This new facility will be a valuable asset for our club and the community.”
To symbolize this fresh start, the ASV recently presented its players with brand-new jerseys. With a renewed sense of purpose and exciting initiatives on the horizon, 2025 promises to be a year of growth and success for the ASV.
